Riker and Nova’s Litter whelped Sept 3 2024 – 8 puppies!

NOW $1500, was $2000 All priority Customers have taken their pick and the remaining puppies are ready to go to their new homes.

Nova is 17” at the shoulder and weighs approximately 36lbs. She is a mini red-tri with the most welcoming, friendly personality. She has spent the last 2 years living a farm life with horses, dogs, farm chores, and greeting guests daily. We hope to see her extremely calm and friendly disposition in all of her puppies.

Riker (Son of Scooter and Rosie) is a red merle with double blue eyes. He is registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (Miniature Australian Shepherd) and is eligible to be registered with AKC. He is playful, loves snuggles, kids, and playtime, just like his sire “Scooter”. At Maturity, he is 17-17.5″ in shoulder height and about 30-35lbs.

All these puppies will come with their ASDR application forms for purebred registrations as non-breeding dogs. Nova and Riker are at the top of the shoulder height for Miniature Australian Shepard and Nova/s dad was a standard Shephard, so her pups have the potential to be either Mini or possibly small standards at maturity. Males typically are bigger than females but we have also had some very small adorable boys in our past litters from the same family line. As both mother and father have double blue eyes they will have a very high potential for stunning blue eyes. Due to Nova being a carrier for PRA, they will have a 50% chance of being a carrier for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)and a 50% chance of testing clear for that gene. A carrier will not have PRA itself, only the recessive gene for it. Due to both mother and father being carriers of MDR1, all puppies will also have a 25% chance of being negative, 25% chance of being positive, and a 50% chance of being a carrier for MDR1. The MDR1 gene causes a sensitivity to specific drugs that should be avoided. To avoid passing these genes on further, puppies will be “pet-only” with no breeding rights. Riker and Daisy’s Litter Whelped Sept. 29 2024 – 5 Puppies!

Daisy is ready for her next little bundles. Daisy is 15” at the shoulder and weighs approximately 20-23lbs. She is a mini red-tri who is smart as whip. She has spent the last 4 years here with Red Drift Kennel socializing with other dogs and cats. She loves going on 10km jogs and is great with her pups.

Puppies will be estimated to mature between 15-17” shoulder height and 20-35bs. They will all be either red merle, red tri or red bi. All puppies will have a 50% chance of being either being negative or a carrier for the MDR1. The MDR1 gene causes a sensitivity to specific drugs that should be avoided. To avoid passing this genes on further puppies with be “pet-only” with no breeding rights. They will all be registerable as Pure Bred Miniature Australian Shepherds with the American Stock Dog Registry.

Daisy’s Litter will also be our first litter to to come already microchipped!!! This will save up to $50 that the Vet will charge. We will be using the same microchip used at many vets and by the Canadian Kennel Club.
