Policies and Paperwork

  • Non refundable deposit of $500 will be paid to place a hold on the pup.
  • The remaining balance will be paid prior to the delivery of the pup. If RDK agrees to make arrangements for flights to transport a puppy, all costs associated with flight, “fit-to-fly” certificate, and crate will be added to the new owner’s bill.
  • Included, in the puppy price, is the first vet examination, and first set of vaccinations, a puppy essential care package that will include a personal vet folder, collar, leash, toy and sample food, Paw Print Genetics profiles from both the dam and sire and any other important health information.
  • The breeder is not responsible for the development of any non-genetic faults, diseases, disorders, or illness/injury which is due to buyer negligence, nor any damages or act performed by the pup due to buyer negligence.
  • Buyer agrees to provide the pup with adequate exercise, feed a high-quality raw or kibble diet, and maintain the health of the pup by making regularly scheduled veterinarian visits and following their veterinarians’ advice.
  • Puppies purchased with breeding rights will come with their ASDR registration application right away. Red Drift Kennel reserves the right to have a co-ownership contract in place until the dog is retired and spayed/neutered.
  • Puppies purchased with no breeding rights, as “pet puppies”, are expected to be spayed/neutered between 6 and 18 months. Upon confirmation that the pup was spayed/neutered by a registered veterinarian, the $1000 spay/neuter deposit will be returned to the buyer and their ASDR registration applications will be sent out to them.
