Daisy
This is Daisy, born Nov. 28 2020. Her registered name with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR) is Ghost Eyes Red Drift Daisy. She came to us from Packet Ranch – Home of Ghost Eye Mini Aussie in Saskatchewan. She is a red-tri Mini Aussie with stunning light blue eyes. At maturity she has a shoulder height of 15″ and weighs about 20lbs. Her sire, MMA Ghost Eye’s Jake (call sign Jake) is a Red-Tri with 2 blue eyes and a small standard size. Her dam, Ghost Eye’s Hillbilly (call sign Billy) is a blue merle with copper and white trim and 2 blue eyes. Daisy has had a full Aussie panel from Paw Print Genetics. Results confirmed DM-N/P (carrier) and N/N (negative) for all other hereditary genetic diseases commonly found in Miniature Australian Shepherds.
Daisy . She is always smiling, playing, has matured into a very motherly dog. She is loving and protective of her family and home, polite and obedient in public, and loves going on 10k trail runs. She loves spaces that feel like a den, whether its her crate, under a chair or under the coffee table. She learns and listens very quickly, is great with all of our kids, cats and dogs, and has whelped 3 beautiful healthy litters.

Nova
This is Nova, Born September 20, 2022. Nova came to us from Grassy Lake, Alberta. This red tri female is a half-sister to our beautiful Daisy. They were both sired by Jake, with different Dam’s. Nova’a Dam, “Showkayce Prairie Queen”, is a black tri from Showkayce Aussies in Airdrie, Alberta Canada. Her Dam is AKC and ASDR registered as a Miniature Australian Shepherd and her Sire Jake is registered as an ASDR Australian Shepherd. Nova matured at approximately 17″ shoulder and 30lbs. She has been practicing her herding skills and loving all her farm chores. She is exposed to horses, children, guests and other dogs regularly and loves them all. She has an extremely calm and friendly disposition that we hope to see in all her puppies. Her first litter was the largest one we have ever had at Red Drift Kennel (8 puppies in her first litter!), the whelping was flawless, and her pups were all gorgeous and healthy. Her PawPrint Genetics Results reported that she is a carrier for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) This means she is not affected by the gene but carries it. Willow
This is Willow, born April 28 2023. Her registered name with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR) is Red Drift Willow. She is home grown right here at Red Drift Kennel. She is a red-tri Mini Aussie with one bright blue eye from her mom Daisy and one Amber/Blue eye from her grandpa Scooter. At 1 year old she has a shoulder height of 14″ and weighs about 15lbs. Her sire, Little Miss Rosie’s Riker (call sign Riker) is a Red-Merle with 2 blue eyes, standing 17″ at the shoulder and weighing about 30lbs. Her dam, Ghost Eye’s Red Drift Daisy (call sign Daisy) is a Red-Tri, with stunning blue eyes, at 15″ and 20lbs. Willow has had a full Aussie panel from Paw Print Genetics. Results confirmed DM (carrier) and MDR-1 (carrier). Negative for all other hereditary genetic diseases commonly found in Miniature Australian(American) Shepherds.
Willow is a high-energy little girl, who is smart as a whip and always analysing and calculating her surroundings. At a year old she has completed multiple levels of training with Obedience Unleashed in Mission BC, adores her family and loves sleeping in her crate at night. She learns and listens very well, thrives when doing chores, and is happiest when doing tasks and learning new things. She is loyal to all of our kids, cats and other dogs at home.
